Ookla is a connectivity intelligence company behind four globally recognized platforms — Speedtest, Downdetector, Ekahau, and RootMetrics - acquired by Accenture in 2026 for $1.2B. Billions of tests collected across millions of devices provide real-time insight into how networks perform globally.

As Lead Graphic Designer, I translate that data into visual storytelling across all four brands: reports, campaigns, award programs, and product launches — including the branding and marketing design for Speedtest Pulse and Speedtest Certified.

Speedtest.net: Driving Brand Growth Through Design

Over nearly a decade at Ookla, I served as the sole graphic designer for the marketing organization - effectively leading brand and marketing design across all four platforms before stepping into the official Lead Graphic Designer title in 2024. My work supported double-digit growth in brand trust year over year and included the visual integration of acquired brands Ekahau, Downdetector, and RootMetrics under the Ookla umbrella - part of a portfolio of work that supported a $1.2B acquisition by Accenture.

Speedtest Awards: Establishing a Global Standard

I led the design and launch of the Speedtest Awards Brand Licensing program, positioning it as the trusted authority in network performance metrics. The program spans 120+ countries, empowering over 250 clients worldwide to showcase their achievements across 12 award categories, including Fastest Mobile Network, Best 5G Video Experience, and Best Mobile Coverage. This work has driven widespread adoption, strengthening brand recognition across global markets.

Speedtest Pulse

As Lead Designer, I directed the creation and launch of Speedtest Certified - a program designed to establish trust and transparency in network performance. From concept through final rollout, I developed the visual language, and branding system, ensuring it communicated credibility while remaining accessible to both partners and end users.

I worked closely with product, engineering, and marketing to define how performance data could be translated into a recognizable and trustworthy program, balancing technical rigor with clarity and usability.
